The Dauphin Bible Camp is please to announce the Dauphin Bible Camp Toboggan Hill (formerly known as Durston Hill). During the preparation phase for the construction of our new Kitchen Dining Hall we purchased the quarter that we are on which included Durston Hill. We realized that the hill had a lot of potential and was an important place for the community of Dauphin. So we have been working hard on making improvements to the hill to make it a safer place for families. Please contact our office for specifics regarding the toboggan hill or how you can be involved in making it a better place.
GOALS
- Prepare and post new signage
- Finish Parking lot at the top of the hill
- Finish the Fire Pit area at the top of the hill
- Remove unwanted brush
- Level top and bottom of hill
- Build wood shed
- Build Shed for Inner tubes
- Fill shed with inner tubes and compressor to fill them
- Build warm up shack
POLICIES
The Dauphin Bible Camp is currently preparing policies to govern the toboggan hill. Once completed they will be posted here.If you have any questions about these policies please contact our office.
Guidelines
- By using the DBC toboggan hill you understand and accept that the hill is not yet completed and that you are responsible for, and accept, any and all injuries that may result from using the Dauphin Bible Camp toboggan hill.
- Unauthorized vehicle, snowmobile, or ATV traffic is not permitted. Please help us make the hill a safer place for our children by reporting all traffic to the camp.
- Alcohol or tobacco is not permitted on Camp property.
- Unauthorized parties are not permitted, please contact the camp if you wish to book the hill for a party.
- If you do not accept these guidelines then please do not use the hill.
