The staff at Dauphin Bible Camp would like to invite you to our “Around the World” youth retreat from September 17th-19th, 2010. All youth ages 13 to 17 and their leaders are invited to take part in the retreat at Dauphin Bible Camp. Dauphin Bible Camp is located about 10 miles south of Dauphin, on the northern slopes of beautiful Riding Mountain National Park.
Dauphin Bible Camp is one of 43 Canadian Camps owned and operated by Canadian Sunday School (CSSM) Ministries. Our primary purpose is “That we may present everyone perfect in Christ (Colossians 1:28)!” At this youth retreat, we want to provide the opportunity to know Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, group games, and different skills. On top of that, you get to laugh, sing, eat food, share stories, participate in a talent show, meet new friends, and discover God’s love for us!
The youth retreat begins on Friday, September 17th with a leaders’ meeting at 5:30 pm. We will conclude the retreat with a worship session and then you are free to leave. The cost for this retreat is $80 per person, but if you register as a group before September 10th, 2010, you will save 50%! That’s a total of $40 per person! This registration fee includes lodging, 4 meals, 2 snacks, and many opportunities to have fun and hear God’s word! You can find all the downloads that you need here in our downloads section.

FAQAbout the theme - Around the World This year at our youth retreat we would like to explore how God is working not only in our lives, but around the world. On the Saturday night we will all have the opportunity to dress up and represent different areas around the world as we partake in a multicultural meal.
The Facility Dauphin Bible Camp is located about 10 miles south of Dauphin, on the northern slopes of beautiful Riding Mountain National Park. Our cabins are a mixture of rustic no electricity cabins and leadership cabins with electricity. Gender specific washrooms with showers are in each area of the camp.
Leaders Meeting & Leaders Breakfast We want to make sure that we are not only ministering to the youth that are coming, but also each other. The Leaders Breakfast is a time set aside for youth leaders to join with each other in prayer and devotion. It is also a time for networking with other youth leaders.
Activities All activity times, including games, will be led by DBC staff will consist of our summer activities like horsemanship, archery, riflery, sports, card making, nature lore, etc.
Talent Show The talent show is an opportunity for the youth to have fun laughing together as well as displaying some of the gifts that God has blessed them with. We ask that everyone who is interested in the talent show use a Talent Show Registration form so that we can monitor and space participants appropriately.
THE CAMP FALL OPEN HOUSE After the youth retreat is over the camp begins its fall open house. Groups are not obliged to stay but they are welcome to if they would like to hear a little more about what is going on at DBC and all that we have planned for the future.
Expectations We want this event to be a refreshing time for youth leaders as well as youth. If you wish to help and serve at this event please let us know a head of time. If you wish to sit back and take it all in that is also awesome. We will have our own leaders who will be running the program, but we would encourage you to, as much as possible, use this time to minister to the youth in your group.
